Open since January of 2008, you have many choices for having fun at Mountain Run Bowling Center - we truly do have something fun for everyone!   Our eighteen lanes provide open, league, and tournament bowling; and our large ticket redemption arcade provides hours of fun for all ages as well!   One can also enjoy the tasty food offered in our spacious snack bar -- and we provide lots of space to sit down and enjoy dining!   Feel free to grab some pool cues from the front desk and shoot a game or two of pool in our separate billiards room which houses three tables for rent by the hour.

Other amenities of Mountain Run include private party rooms for birthday parties, meetings, and other special events; and an on-site full-service pro shop which we are very proud to say is managed by Richard Wolfe, a PBA professional originally from northern Virginia who can still be seen bowling on ESPN re-runs! (search him on the Internet - you can find a lot of video of him out there!).  Rich has been with us from day one, and we feel quite fortunate to have his expertise at Mountain Run.

About the Owners

A local couple who both graduated from Fauquier High School in nearby Warrenton, VA, the owners of Mountain Run Bowling Center have been married for 25 years.  They also own a construction company; but market conditions several years ago made them look into other ventures.  They and their sons had always enjoyed bowling, and it occurred to them that Culpeper needed somewhere for people to go out and have fun; therefore, they created Mountain Run Bowling Center.

Their many years of construction experience afforded them the knowledge and drive to design the facility.  They, along with their sons and construction crew at the time, performed all of the necessary renovations to completely gut the old Grand Home Furnishings store and make it into the the beautiful, state-of-the-art family entertainment center that is Mountain Run Bowling Center.   The owners and their two sons all work at the center as well -  one son attends Germanna Community College and the other attends Virginia Tech; both working during their breaks.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to call 825-BOWL and ask for the owners
.  If they are not in when you call, please leave a message and your call will be returned in a timely manner.
